A popular family orientated, forested campsite on the shores of Harrison Lake where Bear Creek flows into the lake. Bear Creek has drive-in sites, walk-in forest sites, and walk-in beach sites. To ensure ALL campers have an equal opportunity to enjoy their camping experience, rules and policies are strictly enforced. Loud or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and those who do so will be asked to leave, no refund will be provided.
Bear Creek closes September 30th at noon.
Bring your own "Clean Trip Kit." A clean trip kit includes hand sanitizer, gloves and toilet paper
Campers are expected to carry out their own garbage, "Pack it in, Pack it out"
Maximum 6 people per single site, 12 people per double site, includes kids and visitors
Bear Creek has a $10 Visitor Fee, similar to other Recreation sites in the Chilliwack Forest District. The Visitor Fee must be paid in cash and will apply to ANY vehicle in the Bear Creek Rec Site (excluding paid overnight campers). A limited number of visitors will be permitted in the campground, once our max occupancy is reached, no more visitors will be permitted on-site
This is a remote site without services. We do not have up to date communications with Bear Creek in regards to whether there is first come first served site availability.
This is a CASH ONLY site for first come first served and has on-site supervision. All visitors are required to exit the site by 9:30 PM. Gates are locked at 10:00 PM and will remain closed until 8:00 AM.
Quiet time is 10pm – 8am. Music and generators turned off.

Driving Directions
From Vancouver, take Highway #1 or #7 to Harrison Hot Springs. Bear Creek is located about a 45min drive from Harrison.
Turn right at the stoplight when you get into Harrison, besides the gas station, onto Rockwell Drive. Follow Rockwell Drive and travel north along Harrison Lake until you get to where the road changes to gravel. Go left onto the Harrison East Forest Service Road and drive to the 15 km marker, turn left into the campground.
Be aware this is a forest service road with gravel, potholes and dust. Take caution and drive slowly.
